- The best way to approach the game of craps is to max out your free odds bets whenever the point is set on 6 or 8. Free odds approximate the closest you will get to earning the most value for your betting, so even though this can be expensive, it will give you the most value for your money.

Having bet 11 X $6 the loss is 1/66 or -1.51515%. However, consider a $6 place bet on BOTH the 6 and 8 simultaneously. Now we have a 16 possible game.
- The true odds of rolling the numbers six and eight are 6 to 5 but a winning place bet on these numbers pays $7 to $6, so you must make your place bets on these numbers in multiples of six dollars. The house edge on the 6 and 8 is only 1.52 percent which makes it a very good bet.

The big 6 and big 8 bets in craps are situated at both ends of the craps table. The big 6 bet is a wager predicting that a 6 will be rolled out before a 7. While the big 8 bet predicts that an 8 will be rolled before a 7. It is important to note that if any other number is rolled, it will not affect the overall result of the dice roll.

Here it is. This is my betting progression I use when I visit the craps table. it keeps me playing for quite a while on a $300.00 bankroll.Place 6 and 8 for $12 each, if win drop $4 and go to $30, if win (pays 35 + 30) Take $1 change and place all numbers for $64 across.
Your choice to choose same bet thereafter. I choose to double the bet after each win pulling back some winnings.

At a real table, I don't press so aggressive. instead I look to see if there is more than $200 total bets on the table, I regress back to 64 across or if I notice individual numbers, I try to get as many greens as possible.
